The Oncology Pharmacist will support a growing Oncology and Infusion Services program focused on delivering safe and effective treatment for hematology and oncology patients. This role will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff to optimize medication therapy and infusion treatment plans. The Oncology Pharmacist will compound and dispense oncology medications, monitor treatment regimens, and provide education to both patients and clinical staff. This department values evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and patient-centered care while utilizing advanced pharmacy technology and clinical resources. The Oncology Pharmacist will also contribute to staff education, policy development, and ongoing patient safety initiatives.
Reporting directly to Pharmacy Leadership, the Oncology Pharmacist will work closely with an experienced interdisciplinary healthcare team in a collaborative clinical environment. This role offers the opportunity to support operational initiatives, mentor pharmacy staff, and participate in performance improvement projects across Oncology Services.
