Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity seeks a skilled Pharmacist specialized in hospital inpatient care to support a healthcare facility in Sweet Home, OR. This contract role is well-suited for a professional with a strong background in managing medication therapies within inpatient hospital settings, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Accurately review and dispense medications in accordance with hospital protocols. Monitor patient drug therapies and adjust as necessary in collaboration with healthcare providers. Provide drug information and education to patients and healthcare staff. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all pharmaceutical activities. Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to medication use.
Qualifications:
Valid Pharmacist licensure in Oregon. Experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy operations. Strong knowledge of drug interactions, dosages, and pharmaceutical best practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, clinical environments.
