Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide leadership and operational management within a busy retail pharmacy setting, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while delivering exceptional customer care. This direct hire opportunity requires a motivated professional ready to start ASAP in Altoona, PA, working variable day and afternoon shifts. Responsibilities Cultivate strong collaboration with store operations and pharmacy teams to promote engagement and communicate company strategy. Verify prescription accuracy via Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance aligned with regulatory standards. Drive pharmacy profitability and script growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Coordinate inventory management, including forecasting and ordering stock to meet customer demand efficiently. Align departmental performance with key metrics to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency. Deliver pharmaceutical counseling and resolve medical-related customer inquiries to enhance satisfaction and loyalty. Supervise pharmacists, technicians, and support staff including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Ensure the security and compliance of the pharmacy environment. Engage with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and resolve pharmaceutical issues. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy department. Manage daily pharmacy tasks including cycle counts, inventory control, and customer will-calls for smooth workflow. Qualifications/Desired Experience Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Possess a current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Hold a valid Pennsylvania Immunization License.
