Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A hospital setting in York, PA, is seeking a Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations. This contract assignment begins immediately and lasts approximately 13 weeks. The schedule includes variable days and afternoon shifts, offering dynamic hours that support patient care needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily activities Consult with physicians regarding patient medication therapy Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management
Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license required Approximately 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred Strong communication and clinical skills in a hospital environment Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis or similar hospital IT systems
Location:
Position is based in York, Pennsylvania, within a large 500-bed hospital This contract opportunity provides a rewarding role in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy department.
