Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A leading 500-bed hospital in the York, PA area is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis. This opportunity involves supporting inpatient pharmacy operations with a focus on ensuring safe and effective medication use for patients.
Responsibilities include:
Order verification and management Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency Providing clinical consultations to physicians and other healthcare professionals Applying pharmacokinetic principles in patient care Utilizing IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis for medication management and documentation Ideal candidates will have: A valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license Approximately two years of inpatient pharmacy experience Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a healthcare team Familiarity with hospital pharmacy practices and technology
