Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A well-established 500-bed hospital is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis. This opportunity is based in the York/Lancaster, PA area with an ASAP start and a duration of 13 weeks or more. The role features a variable schedule that includes days and afternoon shifts, providing some flexibility to fit your needs. Key responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians, and managing pharmacokinetics. The position requires familiarity with oncology and chemotherapy medications, ensuring specialized patient care in these areas.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license Approximately 2+ years of inpatient pharmacy experience Proficient in EPIC and Pyxis systems (EPIC experience is mandatory) Experience working with oncology/chemo medications Strong communication and supervisory skills
