Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This retail pharmacy role offers an excellent opportunity for a Staff Pharmacist with recent retail experience to manage comprehensive pharmacy operations in a dynamic environment. Based in Boothwyn, PA, this position is structured as a 13-week contract to hire and demands a pharmacist who is licensed in Pennsylvania and ready to take on a varied schedule that supports both weekday and alternating weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescriptions accurately while providing exceptional patient care. Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines and pharmacy policies. Manage inventory and control costs effectively to optimize pharmacy operations. Lead immunization programs, including COVID-19, influenza, and other recommended vaccines, enhancing community health outreach. Provide leadership and development support for the pharmacy team. Conduct quality assurance activities, implementing improvements to reduce errors and improve patient service quality. Handle data management and reporting tasks to ensure accurate and timely pharmacy records. Actively gather and respond to patient feedback to foster continuous improvement in service delivery.Schedule:
Week 1: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM- 6:00 PM Week 2: Monday to Wednesday and Friday, 9:30 AM
- 6:00 PM; Thursday and Saturday 10:00 AM
- 2:00 PM This role requires working every other Saturday, alternating with a part-time pharmacist, with a shortened Thursday shift during those weeks.
