Key Responsibilities:

Enter and verify medication orders, review medication profiles for appropriateness, and provide clinical services tailored to patient needs within ED and ICU settings. Participate in multidisciplinary teams and rounds aligned with practice areas. Perform drug therapy monitoring and pharmacist-managed consults according to established protocols. Engage actively in acute patient care scenarios such as cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required. PGY-1 residency or a minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience. Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain licensure. Proficiency with Meditech electronic health record system preferred.

Location and Schedule:

Based in State College, PA, home to Penn State and known for its scenic beauty. Primarily day shifts with some variable days and afternoon coverage. Shifts are 8 hours in length.

Additional Information:

Compensation ranges between $108,000 and $169,000 annually, with midpoint at $139,000. Relocation assistance may be available on a case-by-case basis.
