Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a knowledgeable pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy services within a large 500-bed hospital setting. This contract role, based in York, PA, offers an engaging experience for professionals ready to contribute their skills to inpatient pharmacy operations with a focus on oncology and chemotherapy medication management.
Schedule:
Variable days and afternoons
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring quality and compliance Collaborate directly with physicians to optimize patient medication therapy Apply expertise in pharmacokinetics to tailor individual patient treatments Utilize IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis for medication management and documentation
Desired Experience:
Active PA pharmacist license Approximately two or more years of inpatient pharmacy experience Proficiency and hands-on experience with EPIC software Exposure to oncology and chemotherapy medication handling and protocols This role is ideal for pharmacists who thrive in fast-paced hospital environments and who possess solid clinical skills paired with strong leadership capabilities. The assignment begins as soon as possible and has a duration of 13 weeks or longer.
