  • Philadelphia Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist (RPh) to join the Pharmacy Clinical Prior Authorization team.
The Pharmacist will be responsible for reviewing prior authorization requests for pharmaceutical products and making clinical coverage determinations based on medical necessity, established pharmacy guidelines, prior authorization criteria, industry regulations, and sound clinical judgment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently while collaborating with other pharmacists, supervisors, healthcare providers, and internal teams to ensure high-quality and timely clinical decisions. Preferred Experience Prior Authorization experience Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience Utilization Management experience Clinical pharmacy review experience Experience communicating with healthcare providers regarding medication coverage decisions Education Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy with a PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree. Licenses and Certifications Active Pharmacist (RPh) License Ideal Candidate We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Pharmacist who is comfortable performing clinical reviews, making independent coverage decisions, and communicating with providers. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced prior authorization environment. CA02
