Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist with specialized experience in sterile compounding. The position requires an active Pennsylvania pharmacy license and at least one year of recent experience in sterile compounding. The role is based in Philadelphia, PA, and offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM over an 8+ week contract period.
Responsibilities:
Perform sterile drug mixing according to protocol and safety standards Manage order entry efficiently and accurately Oversee inventory management to ensure proper stock levels Coordinate nurse visits to support pharmacy functions
Qualifications:
Active and clear Pennsylvania pharmacy license Minimum of 1 year of recent sterile compounding experience Strong knowledge of sterile compounding procedures and regulations Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Effective communication skills for coordinating with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
