Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract To Hire Lead pharmacy operations at a specialized 503A compounding pharmacy, ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency in all sterile and non-sterile compounding activities. This role requires a seasoned Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) who will uphold rigorous regulatory standards and oversee daily pharmacy functions with a focus on safety, accuracy, and continual improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the legally designated PIC for all non-resident state pharmacy licenses. Act as primary liaison with Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies, managing inspections and audits. Ensure compliance with state, federal, FDA 503A, and USP regulations, including USP , , and . Direct operations of sterile and non-sterile compounding, including batch record management and quality assurance. Lead and supervise pharmacists, compounding supervisors, technicians, and production staff. Oversee facility readiness, environmental monitoring, personnel training, and production scheduling for timely delivery and inventory accuracy. Manage reporting related to operational changes, ownership transitions, and PIC assignments.Location:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Flexible availability on Saturdays if neededQualifications:
PA Pharmacist License required. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a PIC or Pharmacy Manager. Expert knowledge of USP standards , , , and relevant regulatory requirements for 503A compounding. Proven experience leading audits and managing regulatory inspections.
