Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract This opportunity seeks an Interim Staff Pharmacist to fulfill the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) role at a micro-hospital in West Grove, PA. The facility operates a 10-bed emergency department alongside a 10-bed inpatient unit and requires dedicated pharmaceutical oversight.

West Grove, PA Job Type:
Contract, coverage from May 18 to June 30, with the possibility of extension
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, day shift
On-Call:
Yes, with infrequent call-ins expected Key Responsibilities Serve as the sole pharmacist and Pharmacist in Charge responsible for all pharmacy operations within the facility Perform PIC duties including audits and inventory restocking Manage medication order entry through Cerner and utilize Omnicell for site automation Operate independently without pharmacy technician support Ensure compliance with all regulatory and hospital standards Qualifications & Experience Valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license is required Experience working in inpatient pharmacy settings Ability to manage all pharmacy functions independently including auditing and restocking Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell systems is a plus Additional Information No sterile compounding responsibilities Remote training will be provided by the local PIC and Pharmacy Director to ensure smooth transition and operational understanding This contract opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist comfortable in a solo role with strong operational and clinical acumen in a micro-hospital environment.
