Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract To Hire This role seeks a dedicated Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee regulatory compliance and daily operations within a dynamic non-sterile compounding pharmacy. The position offers an opportunity to contribute your expertise in pharmacy leadership while supporting a growing telemedicine fulfillment practice focused on dermatology, hormone replacement therapy, wellness, and other specialty areas.

Tempe, AZ Schedule:
Monday-Friday, either 7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00
PM Employment Type:
Contract to Hire (13-week duration) with potential for permanent employment
Remote Flexibility:
Possible limited remote hours per week
Responsibilities:
Serve as Pharmacist in Charge with regulatory oversight and ensure full compliance with USP and state pharmacy boards Perform final verification checks on all non-sterile compounded preparations Review and approve compounding formulas, batch records, and quality documents Collaborate with the existing PIC and pharmacy staff to maintain smooth workflow and compliance standards
Qualifications:
Active California Pharmacist License (required) Active Arizona Pharmacist License or willingness to obtain (preferred) Proven experience in non-sterile compounding strongly preferred Previous PIC experience or readiness to assume PIC responsibilities Ability to work on-site in Tempe, AZ, Monday through Friday This opportunity offers exposure to a fast-growing, independent pharmacy serving a nationwide telemedicine patient base, with a small team environment that values compliance and quality.
