Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A Tribal Clinic/Hospital in beautiful Arizona is seeking a Pharmacist to serve as an Emergency Department (ED) Pharmacist on a night shift rotation. This unique opportunity offers a true decentralized ED pharmacist role within a remote tribal healthcare setting. This position is ideal for a pharmacist with clinical experience who is eager to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment and is open to obtaining BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct pharmaceutical care in the Emergency Department during night shifts Collaborate closely with medical staff to ensure safe and effective medication use Manage medication therapy and assist with emergency response efforts Navigate and document patient care using the proprietary RPMS system, which parallels the VA's Vista system Maintain high standards of clinical practice in a decentralized pharmacy role
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist (AZ license not required due to tribal facility status) Clinical experience, ideally in hospital or emergency department settings Willingness to work in a remote, tribal clinic setting Residency or hospital experience is highly preferred Positive attitude and strong communication skills essential Commitment to obtaining BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications for emergency preparedness
Schedule:
7 days on, 7 days off 10-hour night shifts
