Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A fulfillment/mail order pharmacy located near Chicago is seeking a dual-licensed pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis. This role requires an Illinois and Nevada pharmacist license to support both onsite and remote pharmacy services. The position offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant environment focused on delivering quality care for well-known pharmacy benefit managers and direct-to-patient services. Responsibilities include processing and verifying prescriptions accurately, supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency, and contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace culture. The onsite work involves hands-on involvement in fulfillment operations, while remote work centers around managing prescription processing. Expect to work a schedule that includes Saturdays on a 6-7 week rotation to support ongoing pharmacy operations.
Key Qualifications:
Valid pharmacist licenses for both Illinois and Nevada (Illinois required for onsite duties, Nevada required for remote) Experience in a fulfillment or mail order pharmacy setting preferred Strong ability to manage prescription verification and technician supervision Commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and high standards of patient care Team-oriented mindset aligned with a culture of engagement and growthSchedule:
Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM operations Pharmacist Saturday shifts on a rotational basis approximately every 6-7 weeks This contract role is set to begin immediately and will last 3-6 months with the potential to transition to a permanent position.
