Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract To Hire Soliant is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a contract-to-hire opportunity in the Tempe, Arizona area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing independent compounding pharmacy that specializes in dermatology, hormone replacement therapy, wellness, weight management, and telemedicine fulfillment services. The ideal candidate will bring strong regulatory knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in non-sterile compounding operations. The Pharmacy is a nationally licensed 503A compounding site serving patients and providers across all 50 states. This position is being added to support continued growth and California compliance requirements as the company expands its telehealth partnerships and patient base. Responsibilities Serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and provide regulatory oversight for pharmacy operations Ensure compliance with applicable Arizona and California Board of Pharmacy regulations Perform final verification and quality checks on non-sterile compounded prescriptions Review and approve compounding formulas, batch records, and quality assurance documentation Maintain compliance with USP standards and pharmacy best practices Collaborate with the existing leadership team and pharmacy staff to optimize workflow and operational efficiency Support audits, inspections, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations Qualifications Active and unrestricted California Pharmacist License ( required ) Active Arizona Pharmacist License preferred, or willingness to obtain Prior Pharmacist in Charge experience preferred Strong understanding of pharmacy compliance and regulatory requirements Ability to work onsite in Tempe, Arizona Preferred Experience Previous experience in a non-sterile compounding pharmacy environment Familiarity with USP standards Experience supporting multi-state pharmacy operations Knowledge of telemedicine fulfillment and digital health pharmacy services Skills Strong leadership and organizational abilities Excellent attention to detail Effective communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment Commitment to quality assurance and patient safety Work Hours Monday
  • Friday 7:00 AM
  • 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM 40 hours per week Limited remote flexibility may be available after onboarding
