Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is designed for an experienced clinical pharmacist with a strong background in inpatient hospital settings. The role requires expertise in critical medication management, controlled substances, and quality assurance processes. Candidates should be prepared to engage with a fast-paced environment that demands close attention to detail and clinical accuracy.
Location:
Greenville, SC Schedule:
8-hour shifts within pharmacy hours of 8:30 AM to 6:30
PM Contract Duration:
13 weeks, starting
ASAP Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee medication therapies in an inpatient setting, including administration of drips and critical care medications. Ensure compliance with controlled substance regulations and participate in quality assurance initiatives. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient therapeutic outcomes. Utilize electronic health records, with Epic experience considered an asset. Complete required training modules consisting of 1-2 full days to ensure regulatory and procedural compliance.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active South Carolina pharmacist license. 1 to 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred; candidates with 2 or more years of strong inpatient clinical exposure encouraged to apply. Familiarity with critical care medications, intravenous drips, and quality assurance practices. Experience handling controlled substances in a hospital setting. Ability to work efficiently with limited training while maintaining high standards of practice.
