Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire An independent pharmacy, dedicated to delivering personalized, fast, and friendly service, is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert medication management while putting patient health and wellness at the forefront. This team prioritizes customized care through compounding, medication-management, and delivery services, treating every patient like family and fostering long-term relationships beyond just dispensing medications.
Location:
Brentwood, TN (1406 McGavock Pk STE A, Nashville, TN 37216)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (32-40 hours per week) Possible every-other-Saturday shift, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (may have coverage)
Contract Type:
13-week contract with potential to convert to permanent
Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, complying with all laws and regulations Provide expert counseling on therapy, side effects, interactions, and proper usage to patients and caregivers Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication safety and effectiveness Maintain thorough patient records, verify prescription appropriateness, dosages, and identify drug interactions Champion the pharmacy's values by supporting the team and fostering a positive work environment Stay informed on industry best practices and adapt to new protocols, systems, and technology
Qualifications:
Active Tennessee Pharmacist License Experience with PioneerRX software is highly desirable Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Commitment to exceptional customer service and patient-centered care
