Pharmacist Overview:
This role is responsible for delivering high-quality pharmacy services within a specialty pharmacy setting, supporting patients with complex and chronic conditions The Pharmacist will perform both clinical and distributive functions, ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing while adhering to regulatory and quality standards The position requires strong collaboration with healthcare providers, patients, and internal teams to optimize therapy outcomes and resolve medication-related concerns The Pharmacist will also support patient care through clinical review, drug interaction analysis, and therapeutic interventions, while maintaining compliance with established procedures and accreditation standards This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient and customer service in a structured and team-oriented environment
Job Duties:
Review patient profiles, prescriptions, and drug interactions for safety and accuracy Verify and dispense medications in compliance with regulatory standards Perform final quality checks on prescriptions for accuracy and dosage Provide patient consultation and respond to medication-related inquiries Collaborate with physicians to resolve prescription issues and therapy questions Conduct therapeutic interventions and follow-up with providers as needed Maintain compliance with quality assurance, controlled substance handling, and safety procedures Support documentation and data entry into pharmacy systems Assist in resolving customer service issues involving patients, providers, and vendors Work collaboratively with pharmacy team members to ensure workflow efficiency Specific Details to
