Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire A well-established independent pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This pharmacy's mission is rooted in delivering personalized, fast, and friendly service while providing expert advice that places the patient's health and wellness at the forefront. Location:
Nashville, TN (1406 McGavock Pk STE A)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM (32-40 hours) Possible every-other-Saturday shifts, 9 AM to 3 PM (subject to confirmation)
Responsibilities:
Dispense prescriptions accurately and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations Provide detailed counseling to patients and caregivers about medication therapy, potential side effects, drug interactions, and appropriate usage Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care and medication safety Maintain precise patient records, review dosages, and verify any possible drug interactions Champion a positive work culture, lead by example, and support your pharmacy team Stay current on industry standards, technologies, and changing protocols
Qualifications:
Active Pharmacist License in Tennessee required Experience with PioneerRX software is preferred Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent customer service aptitude
