Staff Pharmacist | Cordova, Tennessee RPh on the Go - 4.1 Cordova, TN Job Details Temp-to-hire 8 hours ago Qualifications Licensed Pharmacist (State-Specific) Doctor of Pharmacy Licensed Pharmacist Full Job Description Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Staff Pharmacist specializing in specialty pharmacy care, focused on managing complex infused therapies for patients with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other chronic conditions. This contract-to-hire position based in Cordova, TN, offers a well-structured Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring consistency and work-life balance. The facility handles a very low prescription volume, allowing for a detailed and patient-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care, managing factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, and other novel subcutaneous and IV infused therapies. Educate patients and their families on medication administration, managing side effects, medication adherence, and safe handling of infused drugs at home. Coordinate closely with physicians, nurses, and in-house care coordinators to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Assist patients in navigating insurance plans, prior authorization processes, and available financial assistance in collaboration with reimbursement specialists.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Tennessee Pharmacist License is required. Experience with CareTend software is highly preferred; however, training will be provided. Willingness to obtain additional state licenses is welcomed.
