Staff Pharmacist

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract We're partnering with a specialty pharmacy seeking a driven, growth-oriented pharmacist ready to take ownership of their career. This is a unique environment with low script volume and high clinical impact, ideal for someone early in their career or looking to expand into specialty therapeutics. Long-term, this role offers a path toward leadership and potential partial ownership for the right individual. 🔹 Key Responsibilities Provide clinical patient management for individuals with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other chronic conditions requiring infused therapies Manage therapy-specific treatments, including factor replacement, omalizumab, and a range of IV/subcutaneous medications Deliver patient and caregiver education on administration, adherence, side effect management, and safe home handling Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators to ensure seamless care delivery Support insurance navigation, including prior authorizations and financial assistance programs in partnership with reimbursement teams 🔹 Work Hours Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM No nights or weekends 🔹 Experience Open to new graduates or pharmacists early in their career Ideal for candidates who are motivated, coachable, and eager to grow in a specialty setting Experience with specialty or infusion therapies is a plus but not required Caretend experience is highly preferred (training available) 🔹 Education Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required 🔹 Other Qualifications Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required Willingness to obtain additional state licenses if needed Strong communication and patient counseling skills Demonstrated work ethic and long-term growth mindset or reach out for further inquiry: (713) 987-3641 Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
