Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist to join an independent pharmacy dedicated to delivering personalized, fast, and friendly service while putting patients' health and wellness at the center of every interaction. The pharmacy emphasizes individualized care through compounding, medication management, and delivery services, fostering long-term relationships by treating patients like family—not just dispensing medications.
Location:
Mount Juliet, TN Type:
13-week contract with potential to convert to permanent (contract to hire)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 10 AM-6 PM (32 to 40 hours) Possibly every other Saturday, 9 AM-3 PM (Saturday coverage may be available)
Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently following all laws and regulations Provide expert counseling to patients and caregivers on medication therapy, side effects, interactions, and usage Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication safety Maintain accurate patient records, review prescriptions for correct dosages, and verify drug interactions Lead by example to support your team and foster a positive work environment Stay updated on industry best practices and adapt to evolving protocols and technologies
Qualifications:
Active Pharmacist license in Tennessee Experience with PioneerRX software preferred Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
