Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract This opportunity is ideal for a Tennessee-licensed pharmacist seeking a consulting role with predictable full-time compensation and flexible hours. The position primarily supports an out-of-state mail-order pharmacy by managing compliance and licensing requirements remotely, with periodic travel to the Nashville area for on-site inspections.

Responsibilities:
Act as the designated Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) supporting an out-of-state mail-order pharmacy license Complete initial PIC documentation and Board of Pharmacy filings for licensing and renewals Perform quarterly on-site compliance inspections at the Nashville-area facility Review portable oxygen patient accounts to confirm annual prescription renewals Conduct physical inspections to ensure proper storage of oxygen tanks and compliance with regulations Verify that operational hours and licensing information are accurately posted and up to date Complete inspection checklists and communicate findings requiring follow-up Assist with additional regulatory or compliance matters as needed
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted Tennessee Pharmacist License in good standing Residency within Tennessee required Minimum 3 years of pharmacy experience preferred; less experienced candidates may be considered Valid, unrestricted driver's license and ability to travel locally for inspections Comfortable in a PIC role handling licensing and regulatory documentation This contract role is anticipated to begin promptly with a 13+ week duration.
