Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A mail order renal specialty pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist to support their team with prescription verification and medication safety. This role offers a structured, consistent schedule from Monday through Friday, providing an excellent opportunity for pharmacists who prefer evening shifts with no on-call responsibilities.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Verification 2 (PV2) functions Conduct final verification of prescriptions, ensuring medication accuracy and correctness of directions Verify prescription information against hard copy documents to maintain compliance and patient safety Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system efficiently, without automation support

Qualifications and Experience:

Licensed Pharmacist in good standing Experience with prescription verification and medication dispensing accuracy Familiarity with pharmacy order entry systems, preferably Wellsky Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Ability to work independently and manage high volume prescription processing (approximately 1,000 prescriptions per day)
