Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity seeks experienced pharmacists to support a well-respected children's hospital. The role focuses on providing high-quality inpatient pharmacy services in a fast-paced clinical environment. Candidates will work a consistent four 10-hour day schedule, ensuring focused and balanced coverage.
Location:
Abernathy, TX (supporting Lubbock Children's Hospital) Schedule /
Hours:
Four 10-hour shifts per week
Responsibilities:
Deliver safe and accurate medication dispensing and distribution for pediatric inpatient patients Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy plans Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication management systems Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and hospital policies Participate in clinical rounds and support patient counseling as needed
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Texas pharmacist license Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis technology systems Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to patient safety Excellent communication and teamwork skills This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on pediatric patient care within a supportive hospital environment.
