Job Description

Responsibilities:
Provide professional pharmaceutical care to patients to ensure positive drug therapy outcomes. Responsible for the intake of prescription orders and the efficient fulfillment and accuracy of orders. Implement and maintain drug utilization management concepts and activities. Supervise professional staff relevant to proper dispensing techniques and checks of medications dispensed Assist employees in performing all technical/clinical department activities. Motivate and challenge staff to complete jobs consistently with accuracy and speed. Conduct staff education on Non-Sterile compounding guidelines of state, federal, and accrediting agencies Assure regulatory compliance to all pharmacy rules and regulations
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be licensed as a pharmacist in the state. Prefer two (2) years' experience in a pharmacy setting. Exhibit proficient computer skills. A valid Texas driver's license Ability to read and write record information as directed. Prefer computer knowledge in Microsoft Office Products. Benefits (Full-Time Only):
