Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract This part-time Pharmacist in Charge opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist ready to manage high-volume prescription verification and patient communications. The assignment is based in the Dallas area, spans approximately 13 weeks, and offers flexibility with shifts primarily on the first shift—day or mid-shift hours can be accommodated based on your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify 1,000 to 1,500 prescriptions daily with accuracy and attention to detail. Handle inbound calls from patients and physician offices to address medication-related inquiries. Utilize DRx pharmacy software to ensure seamless workflow and documentation. Oversee pharmacy operations during assigned hours to maintain compliance and quality standards.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted pharmacist license. Prior experience as a Pharmacist in Charge preferred. Strong communication skills for effective patient and provider interactions. Familiarity with high-volume retail or mail-order pharmacy settings. Experience with DRx software is advantageous.
Location:
Dallas, Texas area with work conducted primarily on-site.
Schedule/Hours:
20 to 24 hours per week. First shift primarily; days or mid-shift hours available to suit candidate preferences.
