We operate with honesty, transparency, and accountability in all aspects of our business. We are seeking a highly skilled pharmacist to join our team. Currently we are looking for 40 hours a week with opportunity to take on more hours as needed. This role requires excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of compounding techniques, as well as a thorough knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medications.
Responsibilities:
Consult with physicians and patients to determine the best medication options Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all medications prepared Ensure that all medications are prepared in compliance with state and federal regulations Provide patient counseling on proper use and storage of medications Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
Requirements:
Bachelors of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution Active pharmacy license in good standing Preferred completion of a compounding pharmacy course OR training program OR compounding experience Sterile certification preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred familiarity with compounding equipment and techniques Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to compounding
