Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Support specialized pharmacy care as a PRN Staff Pharmacist providing coverage for a small, focused pharmacy operation serving hospice and palliative care patients. This position offers an opportunity to apply your skills in a compassionate environment with a specialty infusion and hospice patient population.

Through the remainder of 2026
Schedule:
Day shift — as needed based on the primary pharmacist's vacation and time away schedule
Start Date:
Beginning as soon as the pharmacy opens within the next couple of weeks
Responsibilities:
Provide pharmacy coverage during planned absences of the primary pharmacist-in-charge (PIC) Support specialty infusion pharmacy operations focused on hospice and palliative care patients Collaborate within a small pharmacy team to ensure continuity of patient care Participate in a training day prior to initial coverage shifts to ensure smooth transition and familiarity with procedures
Ideal Qualifications:
Active pharmacist license in Texas, in good standing Experience in specialty infusion pharmacy strongly preferred Prior hospice or palliative care pharmacy experience is a significant plus Ability to work independently and demonstrate a compassionate, patient-focused approach Reliable availability for on-call coverage as needed throughout 2026 Local to San Antonio, no travel accommodations required This position is a contract opportunity offering meaningful work with a patient-centered pharmacy team.
