Full-time /Part-time Position Summary:
Link Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join our mail order, closed-door pharmacy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate verification of prescriptions, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and upholding patient safety standards in a high-volume, non-retail environment. This role is primarily verification-focused, with occasional involvement in operations, quality assurance, and team collaboration.Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy, clinical appropriateness, and compliance with regulations Check compounded and pre-packaged medications for correctness prior to shipment Ensure all prescriptions meet legal, regulatory, and company standards Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and fulfillment staff to address discrepancies or issues Maintain accurate documentation of verifications and interventions Participate in regular audits and quality assurance procedures Stay current with applicable pharmacy laws, industry trends, and clinical updates Communicate with prescribers when necessary to clarify or resolve issues Support the PIC in maintaining operational efficiency and complianceRequirements:
Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in TX as well as other states Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and documentation skills Familiarity with pharmacy software systems Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused, mission-driven environmentPreferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in compounding, specialty, or mail order verification Knowledge of USP guidelines and regulatory requirements (DEA, FDA, State Board) Comfortable with technology and adapting to evolving workflowsShifts Open:
1st shift- Monday to Friday 7am-3pm 2nd shift
- Monday to Friday 3pm-11pm 3rd shift
- Sunday to Thursday 11pm-7am Occasional weekend coverage as needed
