Job Description

ReShape Rx - New Braunfels, TX GLP-1 & Peptide Therapies $60-$70/hour | Full-Time Position Overview ReShape Rx is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist who brings both strong compounding expertise and a growth-oriented mindset to support our expanding 503A sterile pharmacy in New Braunfels. This is not a traditional dispensing role. We are looking for a pharmacist who is excited about modern therapeutics (GLP-1s, peptides, hormone optimization) and wants to contribute to both clinical excellence and the continued growth of the business . You will play a key role in ensuring compliance and compounding quality , while also collaborating with leadership on workflow optimization, product development, and scaling operations . Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Compounding Oversight Perform and oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding in compliance with USP <797>, <800>, and 503A standards Evaluate prescriptions for clinical appropriateness, dosing accuracy, and therapeutic optimization Ensure safe, sterile, and accurate preparation of GLP-1 medications, peptides, and hormone therapies Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and quality standards Quality, Compliance & Safety Ensure full compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy and federal regulations Maintain documentation across compounding logs, environmental monitoring, and quality assurance processes Monitor inventory integrity, including expiration, storage, and handling standards Participate in internal audits, risk assessments, and continuous quality improvement initiatives Operations & Workflow Optimization Support and improve daily pharmacy operations, including compounding workflow and production efficiency Utilize Pharmetika software for prescription management, tracking, and reporting Assist in optimizing production schedules and adapting to increasing demand Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve throughput and accuracy Growth & Innovation Collaborate with leadership on new product offerings, formulations, and service expansion Support education around GLP-1s, peptides, and emerging therapies for internal teams and partner clinics Contribute to building scalable systems for a growing multi-location pharmacy model Bring ideas and initiative to improve both clinical outcomes and operational performance Team Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with pharmacy technicians and staff to ensure consistency and excellence Assist in training and elevating team competency in sterile compounding practices Foster a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement Qualifications PharmD or BS in Pharmacy Active Texas Pharmacist License (Required) 2+ years of experience (sterile compounding strongly preferred) Working knowledge of USP <797>, <800>, and 503A compounding standards Experience with pharmacy systems (Pharmetika preferred) Interest in functional medicine, peptides, or metabolic health therapies is a strong plus Core Competencies Clinical judgment and attention to detail Strong operational awareness and efficiency mindset Ability to think beyond day-to-day tasks and contribute to growth Excellent communication and collaboration skills Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment High level of professionalism and accountability Work Environment On-site in a sterile compounding pharmacy High-growth, entrepreneurial environment Opportunity to be part of building and scaling a modern pharmacy model Compensation & Benefits $60-$70 per hour , based on experience Full-time position Health insurance (if applicable) Opportunity for increased responsibility and growth within the organization
