Full-time Expected Hours:
40 per week We are a sterile compounding pharmacy seeking a Pharmacist to join our team. This role is focused on reviewing prescriptions, supervising sterile IV and subcutaneous medication fulfillment, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is precise, experienced in sterile environments, and comfortable working independently during later hours.
Responsibilities:
Review and verify prescription orders for sterile IV and subcutaneous injectables Oversee prescription processing, labeling, staging, and final verification Supervise evening fulfillment operations and pharmacy technicians Ensure compliance with USP <797>/<800> guidelines and internal SOPs Maintain accurate records for controlled substances and compounded preparations Support inventory management and end-of-day reporting Maintain cleanliness and organization of sterile work areas Communicate with team leads and management as needed to support continuous workflow
Requirements:
Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Texas (Required) Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree (Required) Experience in a sterile compounding environment (Preferred) Familiarity with USP <797> and <800> compliance (Preferred) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working independently and managing evening responsibilities Proficiency with pharmacy software and systems
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Occasional weekends as needed
