Job Details The Pharmacist is responsible for the proper dispensing of all medications filled through ExactCare to ensure the correct and safe supply of medications are delivered to the general public. The pharmacist is responsible for adhering to company policies and procedures and providing clinical consults to patients and other health care professionals. Responsibilities Ensuring clinical accuracy and execution of patient prescriptions. Verification of hard copy and digital Rx's. Communication with healthcare professionals and making sure that the Dr. call line is answered. Supervision and execution of incoming and outgoing prescription transfers. Perform DUR to identify MTM eligible patients and identify clinical intervention per patient with follow up. Ensure all legal, privacy and compliance requirements are met. Must hold a current Pharmacist license in the State of Ohio.Experience Required:
Prior Pharmacist experience, closed-door/production pharmacy preferred. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the pharmacy for extended periods of time. Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling medications, operating equipment, and using computer systems. Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity to read prescription labels, reports, and computer screens accurately. May require bending, reaching, and repetitive motions during production activities.Schedule:
This is a full-time position with an expectation to work an average of 40 hours per week and be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad-hoc basis. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
