Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely Ensure compliance with all state, federal, DEA, FDA, HIPAA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and staff Counsel patients on medications, therapies, and immunizations Communicate with physicians, providers, vendors, and patients regarding pharmacy needs Monitor inventory, controlled substances, returns, and medication storage Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation Report and document medication errors and quality concerns Administer immunizations and maintain current CDC vaccination guidelines Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pharmacy environment Deliver excellent customer service and build strong patient relationships Support scheduling, training, coaching, and staff development as needed Assist with additional pharmacy projects and operational duties assigned by the
PIC Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or PharmD from an accredited pharmacy school Active California Pharmacist license and active Texas Pharmacist license in good standing Retail pharmacy experience preferred; compounding or sterile compounding experience is a plus Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Knowledge of pharmacy operations, inventory management, and regulatory compliance Proficient with pharmacy management systems and prescription processing software Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information at all times. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments such as hospital units or long-term care facilities while maintaining attention to detail. Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Ability to communicate effectively in English Leadership Expectations Lead by example and promote a positive team culture Coach, mentor, and support pharmacy staff and technicians Demonstrate accountability, adaptability, and problem-solving skills Support staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management initiatives Work collaboratively to ensure high-quality patient care and operational excellence Company Expectations All employees are expected to maintain professionalism, protect confidential information, follow company policies, support teamwork, and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
