Our team works closely with prescribers to craft custom formulations with a commitment to safety, precision, and patient outcomes. What you'll do Sterile compounding (primary focus) Prepare and oversee sterile preparations in a USP 797-compliant cleanroom environment Conduct compounding calculations, formula verification, and final product checks Perform and document environmental monitoring, gowning, and aseptic technique procedures Review and interpret prescriptions for sterile compounds including injectables, ophthalmics, and IV admixtures Maintain beyond-use dating (BUD) records and batch documentation Ensure cleanroom equipment is properly maintained and calibrated Knowledge of non-sterile compounding (USP 795) is a plus as we continue to grow our services. Daily responsibilities Verify compounded preparations for accuracy, potency, and appearance before dispensing Consult with prescribers and patients on compounded medications and therapy adjustments Maintain compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) regulations and USP standards Manage inventory of APIs, excipients, and supplies in collaboration with the pharmacy team Train and oversee pharmacy technicians in compounding tasks Keep accurate records for all compounds, lot numbers, and expiration dates Assist with quality assurance tasks and participate in routine audits Qualifications Required Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing Hands-on experience in sterile compounding and USP 797 compliance Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and cleanroom protocols Preferred PCAB accreditation knowledge or experience with pharmacy accreditation processes Familiarity with LifeFile compounding software (preferred but not required — training available) Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Why join us Focused, specialty compounding environment — no retail counter or drive-through Opportunity to grow into non-sterile compounding and take on a broader clinical role Collaborative, tight-knit team that values pharmacist expertise Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
