Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist at a 150-bed community hospital in Nacogdoches, TX. This role supports hospital pharmacy operations within a reputable healthcare network and requires a focus on inpatient pharmaceutical care.
Schedule/Hours:
8-hour shifts 8:00 AM to 4:30
PM Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety Supervise pharmacy technicians and monitor workflow Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes Manage IV admixtures using established protocols Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Texas Minimum of 1 year current inpatient pharmacy experience Strong proficiency in IV admixture preparation and safety standards Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy software and Omnicell automation systems is preferred Effective communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration This is an excellent opportunity to apply your inpatient pharmacy expertise in a dynamic hospital setting, contributing to patient care and medication safety.
