Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem Provide safe and efficient medication dispensing under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager in a Per Diem role based in Port Aransas, TX. This position involves counseling patients, managing stock and controlled substances, and addressing patient and third-party inquiries to ensure optimal patient care.

Per Diem Term of assignment: August 27-28 and September 3-4

Shift Hours:
8:30 AM - 5:00
PM Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Counsel patients regarding their medication regimens and answer related questions. Address patient concerns, inquiries, and complaints following organizational policies. Maintain stock levels and controlled drug records, performing regular inventories. Clarify third-party coverage and resolve patient problems promptly. Utilize Pioneer software for pharmacy operations.
Qualifications:
Active and clear pharmacist license in Texas. Minimum of 1+ year retail pharmacy experience. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
