Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a pharmacist to support a 150-bed community hospital in Nacogdoches, TX. This role offers the chance to engage in critical pharmaceutical care in a collaborative hospital environment.
Schedule:
8-hour shifts, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders ensuring safety and accuracy Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficiency and compliance Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize patient medication therapy Utilize systems such as Cerner and Omnicell to manage pharmacy operations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Texas pharmacist license Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience Strong expertise with IV admixture preparation and safety Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell pharmacy systems preferred This position is suited for a pharmacist ready to contribute clinical knowledge and leadership within a hospital pharmacy team. The role expects effective communication with healthcare providers and assures proper medication management for patient care.
