Job Description

Pharmacist - Infusion Texarkana, TX • Full-Time An independently owned, growing pharmacy organization is seeking an Infusion Pharmacist to join its team in Texarkana, Texas. This role centers on clinical patient care and infusion therapy, working closely with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams. It suits a pharmacist who values direct patient interaction and collaborative medication management in a specialty and home infusion setting. Schedule Full-time, with participation in rotating on-call coverage. Confirm specific weekday hours and on-call frequency with the employer. What You'll Do You will review, verify, and dispense infusion medications accurately and efficiently, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams on infusion therapies and medication management. You will monitor patient therapies and provide clinical recommendations when appropriate, and counsel patients and caregivers on medication administration and potential side effects. Beyond direct clinical work, you will participate in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, inventory management, and operational initiatives, and share in rotating on-call coverage to support continuity of patient care. Required Qualifications Active Texas Pharmacist license in good standing Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail Effective communication and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a clinical team Preferred Qualifications Infusion, specialty pharmacy, or long-term care pharmacy experience Experience with home infusion therapy and sterile compounding (USP 797) Familiarity with infusion pharmacy software and clinical documentation systems Compensation and Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off Benefit specifics should be confirmed with the employer.
