Position Summary:
The Pharmacist-in-Charge is responsible for the legal operation of Clara Rx LLC and ensuring compliance with all Texas State Board of Pharmacy regulations, DEA requirements, HIPAA regulations, and company policies.
Essential Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance Maintain pharmacy compliance with TSBP rules. Serve as primary contact for TSBP inspections. Ensure controlled substance compliance. Maintain required pharmacy records. Clinical Oversight Verify all prescriptions. Review drug interactions. Ensure patient safety. Provide patient counseling. Operational Management Supervise pharmacists and technicians. Monitor inventory management. Oversee medication storage requirements. Investigate medication errors. Quality Assurance Implement quality improvement activities. Review incident reports. Conduct policy reviews annually. Compliance Follow all company policies. Report medication errors immediately. Assist during inspections.
Requirements:
Active Texas Pharmacist License. Eligible to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge Knowledge of Texas Pharmacy Act and DEA regulations.
