Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity seeks an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to support a 500-bed hospital serving a wide range of patient needs, including specialized care in a 42-bed NICU and a 14-bed Pediatric ICU. The role features a night shift schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off, providing a balanced approach to work and personal time. This position offers the potential for travel assignments with flexibility to relocate for a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general inpatient pharmacy duties ensuring safe and effective medication management. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy and support patient care. Utilize EPIC system efficiently, embracing the recent transition from Cerner to maintain accurate medication records and workflows.
Desired Qualifications:
1-2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience to confidently manage clinical responsibilities. Proficiency with the EPIC electronic health record system highly preferred to facilitate seamless integration with clinical teams. Strong communication and problem-solving skills applicable to inpatient pharmaceutical care.
Location:
Hospital situated in Lubbock, TX, serving a diverse patient population including specialized neonatal and pediatric intensive care units.
Schedule:
Night shift: Wednesday through Tuesday rotation with 7 consecutive days on followed by 7 days off.
