Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a pharmacist to support a children's hospital located in Wolfforth, TX. This contract role begins ASAP and spans six months with the potential for a day shift transition later in the assignment. The pharmacist will work night shifts, covering from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with a schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off. Starting in July or August, the position will transition to daytime hours to cover a pharmacist on FMLA through mid-January 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide pharmaceutical care and medication management in a pediatric inpatient setting. Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for accurate medication dispensing and documentation. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Texas pharmacist license. Experience in inpatient pharmacy practice, preferably within pediatric care. Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication automation systems. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
