Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a staff pharmacist in a specialized pediatric hospital setting. This contract role requires night shift coverage, offering a unique opportunity to apply your clinical skills in an inpatient environment focused on children's health.
Location:
Wolfforth, TX Schedule:
Night shift, 7 days on / 7 days off
Hours:
8:00 PM to 6:30 AM Potential transition to day shift later in the year covering FMLA (through 1/13/2027)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pharmaceutical services primarily for pediatric patients Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems effectively to manage medication orders and dispensing Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use Participate in clinical rounds and provide drug information as needed Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Texas pharmacist license required Inpatient pharmacy experience is highly preferred Pediatric pharmacy experience is a strong advantage Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system Familiarity with Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets This six-month assignment offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a leading children's healthcare facility.
