Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Direct Hire This direct hire opportunity is for a Pharmacy Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a respected mail order compounding pharmacy serving multiple states. As the PIC, you will play a key role in leading pharmacy operations and contributing to a positive company culture focused on growth and excellence. The pharmacy currently operates a 503A non-sterile compounding, closed-door model specializing in peptides and GLP-1 medications.
Location:
Sandy, UT (with the option to apply for UT licensure upon hire)
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00
PM Start Date:
ASAP Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Current multi-state pharmacist licenses including
AL, AR, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MS, NE, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, WV
Ability to apply for Utah licensure after hire Proven leadership skills with a positive attitude focused on creating a supportive and collaborative work environment Experience managing mail order pharmacy operations, preferably within a 503A compounding setting Strong organizational abilities to help scale operations and manage growth effectively Familiarity with compounding non-sterile medications, including peptides and GLP-1 therapies Proficient in pharmacy systems, particularly

Oversee all pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with laws and regulations across multiple states Lead, mentor, and inspire staff to cultivate a positive and productive workplace culture Manage and scale pharmacy growth and compounding processes efficiently Ensure accuracy and quality in dispensing compounded medications Maintain documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards This role offers the chance to impact a specialized pharmacy's growth while working within a supportive and structured environment.
