Retail Pharmacy / Healthcare Services Job Summary We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide high-quality pharmacy and clinical services to patients. The Pharmacist will be responsible for prescription review and dispensing, patient consultations, immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and other healthcare services while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical pharmacy services, including immunizations, flu shots, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), patient consultations, and drug therapy reviews . Review and dispense prescriptions accurately and in compliance with state and federal regulations. Ensure controlled-substance prescriptions are handled in accordance with applicable laws and Good Faith Dispensing requirements. Counsel patients regarding medications, proper usage, potential interactions, side effects, and other medication-related concerns. Engage patients professionally, identify their healthcare needs, and proactively offer appropriate pharmacy services. Deliver excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive patient experience. Build strong relationships with patients by providing personalized and dependable pharmacy care. Support retail, clinical, and wellness programs, including immunizations and diabetes awareness initiatives. Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy practices, healthcare regulations, clinical developments, and industry best practices. Complete required certifications, continuing education credits, and assigned company training. Follow all applicable pharmacy procedures, regulatory guidelines, and company policies. Basic Qualifications BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution. Must hold a current and active Pharmacist license in Utah or meet applicable state licensure requirements. Certified Immunizer required. Knowledge of pharmacy regulations, prescription dispensing, medication management, and patient care. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. Preferred Skills Retail pharmacy experience. Experience providing immunizations and other clinical pharmacy services. Knowledge of Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Strong patient counseling and medication review skills.
