Lifecare Specialty has been providing hospice pharmacy services to the state since 2013. This role plays a critical part in supporting hospice patients by ensuring timely and accurate medication management. Working directly with the Dr and Nurse, the Pharmacist becomes a critical part of the care team for each Hospice patient. It is very rewarding to work at Lifecare Specialty and to know you are part of a special community.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispenses drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners. Oversee pharmacy staff including hiring and firing. Compound medications with precision and care. Manage day to day operations of Pharmacy. Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate medication handling. Maintain high attention to detail and a strong commitment to customer service. Support efficient workflow while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Active Utah Pharmacist License (required) Excellent communication skills Friendly, honest, and service-oriented demeanor Ability to multitask and maintain focus under pressure Previous experience in hospice or compounding preferred, but not required— training is available
