Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist ready to advance their career in a dynamic, growth-focused environment. The current operation specializes in 503A non-sterile compounding, functioning as a mail order, closed-door pharmacy processing roughly 1,000 prescriptions daily. You will work alongside a dedicated team of 4 pharmacists and 3 technicians Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM, in West Valley City, UT. The role offers a unique chance to contribute to a positive workplace culture through strong leadership, organization, and a growth mindset. The team is preparing to move into a new 7,000 sq. ft. facility opening in October/November, which will expand services to include sterile compounding and has the potential to scale volume up to 10,000 prescriptions per day. The future vision includes growing the pharmacy team to 10 pharmacists and over 15 technicians.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing daily operations with a focus on quality and efficiency Overseeing compounding activities, primarily peptides and GLP-1 medications Utilizing the Pioneer Rx system for prescription processing and management Collaborating with leadership to foster an engaging, supportive work environment Playing a critical role during the transition to the new facility and adapting workflows accordingly Qualifications and desired experience: Current pharmacist licensure with experience in non-sterile compounding Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop team members Organized with a genuine interest in operational growth and scalability Willingness to train on-site in Salt Lake City for 4-6 weeks, with potential for remote Pharmacist-in-Charge duties thereafter requiring monthly site visits Benefits and perks include relocation assistance and the opportunity to be part of an expanding, innovative pharmacy operation from the ground up.
