Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a 200-bed community hospital in Southwest Virginia. This assignment offers the chance to contribute to patient care in a medium-sized hospital setting while working with a skilled healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee daily operations Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy Utilize healthcare technologies including EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems

Desired Qualifications:

Active pharmacist license in Virginia Proven experience in a hospital pharmacy environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems preferred

Schedule and Location:
